About this role

This role is responsible for developing and executing public relations programs supporting prioritized organizational initiatives. This includes developing and implementing integrated external public and media relations programs with the goal of advancing Aidoc’s brand, leadership and reputation. Ultimately the person in this role will work across the organization and with external partners to help bring Aidoc’s story of empowering physicians with AI so they can deliver safer, faster care throughout a patient’s journey.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with vice president of brand and communications to set strategy and direction for Aidoc communications programs
  • Develops and leads public relations and brand communications strategies in support of Aidoc corporate initiatives or campaigns to drive continued awareness and interest of Aidoc
  • Uses creative thinking to develop outstanding PR and aligned communications programs
  • Serves as a trusted advisor to internal business partners on media pitches, interviews, media training and strategic story development
  • Regularly measures and reports results of the effectiveness of earned media outreach
  • Develops content syndication strategy to effectively use channels currently owned by Aidoc and drive maximum impact with media coverage
  • Advises on, drafts, and executes CEO and executive communications, including company-wide emails, briefings, and talking points
  • As appropriate, produces owned content, including news releases, editorials, podcasts, social media campaigns and other content that advances Aidoc’s priorities
  • Stays up-to-date on industry trends, competitors, and other market insights while providing insight to critical organizational stakeholders
  • Oversees organic social for the brand and CEO with a focus on utilizing both channels for thought leadership 
  • Manages industry visibility program including award nominations and submission to industry conferences 
  • Works with key industry analysts groups to advance Aidoc’s brand and offerings
  • Understands global market dynamics and competitive landscape and provides recommendations on content development to address these needs 
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to provide strategic communications counsel and PR support
  • Manages and guides PR agency relationship

Requirements

  • Proven working experience in public relations with a passion for storytelling and brand building 
  • Understands what makes a story compelling and how to leverage content to engage multiple audiences
  • Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns 
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills
  • Experience working with senior-level executive teams and industry KOLs 
  • Experience working with industry analyst groups in both the healthcare and technology sectors
  • Thrives in an environment that supports creativity, an open exchange of ideas, and problem-solving
  • Experience overseeing brand and executive social accounts including content creation for ongoing social engagement 
  • 10 or more years of relevant work experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism 
  • BA/MA degree in Public Relations, Communications or a related field
  • Health care experience preferred
  • Agency experience preferred
