We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payables Bookkeeper to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the company’s accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments, and maintaining vendor relationships.

About this role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payables Bookkeeper to join our finance team. In this role, you will manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments, while maintaining strong relationships with vendors. You will also assist with month-end closing, audits, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Process and review vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Communicate with senior management for invoice approval flows and seek necessary authorizations.
  • Manage payment schedules and process payments via wire transfer.
  • Collaborate with vendors to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and facilitate timely payments. 
  • Assist in maintaining positive relationships with key vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable activity in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Prepare periodic accounts payable reports and support month-end closing activities.
  • Assist with audits by providing necessary documentation and support.
  • Generate basic reports and assist in analyzing key accounts payable metrics.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the accounts payable function.

Requirements

  • Certified bookkeeper - Minimum level 2.
  • At least five years of proven experience as an accounts payable bookkeeper or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
  • Previous experience in a high-tech company and multi-currency environment.
  • High level of English- both speaking and writing- Must
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with NetSuite – Advantage
